Tollygunge Sambodhi Buddhist Monastery
TSBM It was established in the year 1950 in the name of Tollygung Buddha Samity. Later on, it was registered in the year 2007 as Tollygunge Moor Avenue Buddha Samity. Later on ,it was known as Tollygunge Buddha Vihar.
Before 2009 there was no Bikkhu Biharadhykha at this place. On 8th February 2009 Dr. Arunjyoti Bhikku became the first Adhyaksha. After that it started getting popular on now, known as “Tollygunge Sambodhi Buddhist Monastery”.

Being a well-groomed Buddhist Monk & a Social-Reformed & Worker, it’s my utmost desire to educate people with the Golden Words of Lord Buddha, remains in his blessings & try my best to vigorate people around me by preaching before them, the “Glories of Truth” as done by Mahatma, Tathagata, Gotama Buddha.
